First of all, this is realated to this thread, for reference.

I don't have time to provide links to all the players like I did for the 2005 free agents, but you all know where to find them, right? So, here's the voting for MVP in both leagues.

Westbaystars-san, I belive the player you have listed as "Santoh" is actually named "Mitoh" (?

According to my Shukan Baseball insert 2004 Pro Yakyu Photo Meikan, it is correct as Sa-n-to-u (written in Hiragana).

There are a number of names with multiple readings that I get wrong, so it's good to have someone checking up on me. Thanks.

You are definitely correct on that one. I am not great with kanji, but I've watched too many games to know that it is Santoh and not Mitoh. He's a southpaw with the Tigers who made several effective starts in the second half of the season.

My mistake. It's good to have someone checking my Kanji accuracy too.

As you can see, most of the decisions were pretty one sided. The best Central League second baseman ended in a tie between Araki and LaRocca. Third base was also close in the Central League.

In the Pacific League, the only really close race was for the third outfield spot with nine votes separating third from sixth. Seguignol and Zuleta also were close in the designated hitter spot, Seguignol's 2 votes at first base not increasing his lead by much.

After the number of votes for each player who was selected to the Best Nine is the number of times selected this makes.

How can Benny Agbayani of the Chiba Lotte Marines be left off any all star team? His stats are far and away better than all of the outfielders in the Pacific League!
