Sorry for the late reply. I've been very busy with other things lately.

The very unofficial stats that I have show:

+------+---------+---------+-------+
| Team | Total | Players | Avg |
+------+---------+---------+-------+
| OBW | 153,550 | 64 | 2,399 |
| HC | 212,190 | 69 | 3,075 |
| NHF | 208,650 | 66 | 3,161 |
| HT | 226,930 | 69 | 3,289 |
| CLM | 216,875 | 65 | 3,337 |
| YBS | 243,100 | 68 | 3,575 |
| SL | 242,230 | 63 | 3,845 |
| OKB | 270,920 | 68 | 3,984 |
| YS | 265,620 | 65 | 4,086 |
| FDH | 291,250 | 70 | 4,161 |
| CD | 321,630 | 69 | 4,661 |
| YG | 403,372 | 67 | 6,020 |
+------+---------+---------+-------+

All salary figures are in units of man (10,000) yen. This also reflects the state of salaries at the beginning of the season, less a few that were still unknown or being processed.

If this is for a book or anything else official, I'd advise taking Whiting-san's advise and contacting the Commissioner's Office.

Hope this helps.

I got an idea of where 2002 salaries might be and hit the jackpot. The Players' Association had it. For those of you who can't read Japanese, here is how the teams averaged in 2002:
