MLB hopeful Junichi Tazawa continued to impress the large group of scouts here to watch him when he tossed his second straight shutout at the national corporate championships Friday at Kyocera Dome.
Tazawa, who was bypassed at his request by Japanese pro teams in the amateur draft, allowed four hits and struck out four in Nippon Oil's 4-0 victory over Hitachi in the quarterfinals.
The 22-year-old, who walked none and hit 151-kph on the speed gun, is expected to also pitch in the semifinals.
