This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Right now I have:
Japanese teams from 1984-2009 (they are listed with the major league teams)
MLB teams from 1927-2010.
AA and AAA teams from 1963-2010
I also have the ability to add college, high school, little league and more. Here are a couple sample games:
2009 Nippon vs 2009 Yomiuri

MLB 1986 Boston vs. 1986 NY Mets

Currently all of the teams/sport have the "DH" rule in place and you can only sub batter for batter and pitcher for pitcher. Also stolen bases are for the lead runner only.
There is also a bug in the play by play, sometimes the game will have a double play which is actually correct, but it won't say double play in the text or vice versa. The game engine is correct the text is wrong.
Right now I'm working on pitching stamina as well, so if you've ever thought about making a classic reliever a starter, here's your chance.
Try it out, let me know if you'd like any specific team added on any level. I can get a team online for the lower levels (HS) with fairly limited information.
Again, it's a work in progress but users have found it fun, even though it's not 100% complete.
I'd like to add 2010 teams if anyone has a link to current statistics.
