CPBL: Bulls sign Billy Sylvester
The Sinon Bulls have signed right handed pitcher Billy Sylvester and assigned him to their minor league team. The 30 year old was 0-2 with a 13.50 ERA in two games this season with the Harrisburg Senators of the Double-A Eastern League. He has been mainly used as a reliever in his minor league career.

The Bulls have released pitchers Clint Weibl (6-4, 1 save, 3.58 ERA in 22 games) and Jorge Cortez (5-4, 2 saves, 2.48 ERA in 21 games). Meanwhile Alfredo Gonzalez has been outstanding this year as he is 9-7 with a 2.58 ERA in 23 games (132.2 IP).
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
