This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Hong Ruei-Ho, the CPBL acting commissioner and GM of the Brother Elephants said, "It's true were having trouble with foreign players in Taiwan. They are from different cultures and do not speak the local language. They are also more prone to have behavior problems such as breaking curfews, going out to night clubs, and associating with unknown characters." Hong went on to say his view was based on police evidence and reported cases in Taiwan. He also said, "Most of the problems are from players from Latin America. They are too difficult to manage, and have caused many headaches with their off-field activities."
