First Ever Japanese Game in Taiwan

First Ever Japanese Game in Taiwan
NEW JAPANESE PROFESSIONAL GAME IN TAIWAN RECORD - Taipei - 5/14/2002 – Daiei Hawks vs. Orix Blue Wave.

Does anyone know the stadium, final score, attendance, time of game, and league (Central or Pacific) for this first-ever regular season Japanese game in Taiwan?

Has a regular season Japanese major league game ever been played elsewhere outside of Japan other than in Taiwan? In Korea? In China? In Saipan? On Guam? On any other Pacific island?

Please let me know via e-mail at plowry1176@aol.com if you know so I can update the records. Thank you.

Finally, a request within the time frame that I have data for.

Daiei and Orix (both in the Pacific League) played a two game series in Taipei (Taipei Stadium) on May 14-15, 2002. Daiei was the home team for both games.

Game 1: Orix 4 - 5 Daiei, 11,000 in attendance, game started at 17:51 and took 3 hours 8 minutes.

Game 2: Orix 8 - 7 Daiei, 12,000 in attendance, game started at 17:45 and took 3 hours 37 minutes (with a 2 minute suspension - not sure why).
