China Baseball?
How is the league in Mainland China doing this year? What foreigners are playing over in China? How much do they make?

Hey. The mainland baseball is very hard to follow. Their official website has been down for most of this year. The site's up again, but it seems like they haven't updated since around this time last year.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. I'm interested in researching baseball in mainland China as well. If anybody knows of any Internet resources, please let me know. I am fluent in Mandarin (including both Simplified and Traditional characters), if that helps.

By the way, the official CBL website is updated quite frequently and seems up-to-date. Perhaps they've given up on the English language portion of their website.

Anyway, it appears that registration is required to get into just about anything. I'll take a closer look at this after this semester ends.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
