Pedro Feliciano

Pedro Feliciano
I don't think Pedro will light any fires, but he seems to be heading your way. From Rotoworld:
"The Fukuoka Hawks of Japan are close to a deal with Mets LHP Pedro Feliciano. The Mets need to clear some 40-man roster space. Feliciano had a 5.40 ERA in 18 1/3 innings last season and a 4.21 ERA in 72 2/3 innings for the Mets over the last three years. Jan. 13 - 2:46 pm et"
I just don't see this deal.

He's a decent pitcher, though a somewhat strange choice to bring to Japan. He's had a decent sized platoon split - his future in the US system was as a LOOGY (lefty one-out guy), a lefty-killer. His stuff is average: upper 80's (mph) fastball, decent slider, curve, and change - lacks a standout pitch, but mixes pitches well. Okay control. Has bad facial hair. Has been a reliever, essentially, his whole career - I don't see him changing roles for the Hawks.

Here's his career stats: [Link - The Baseball Cube]
