It looks like Gallagher-san pretty much sums up what's been said here all through the off season. It's also good to see someone from the English press talking with Japanese media people about the Japanese game (although it would have been better if it wasn't an MLB commentator). I tend to find the arguements of other Japan Times' writers who write about discussing Japanese baseball with yet another gaijin to be a bit less valid.
Nonetheless, it was a nice piece with a good save at the end.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
