The 25th season of the local Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) officially concluded on Oct. 23 as the Lamigo Monkeys beat the Chinatrust Brothers 8-3 in Game 5 of the Taiwan Series at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium.
