No-win situation in CPBL broadcasting disputes

MP&S cited lower revenue potential/ticket sales from the TV fiasco. But I thought MP&S had a hand in the broadcasting. I'm a little bit confused.

The CPBLTV thing has been a boon for me, as I live stateside. The cost for a subscription is ten bucks ($299NT). I'm more than willing to pay to help the CPBL with their shallow pockets, but I haven't had to because I can't watch anything live anyway.
