This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

P Ronald Bay (4-3, 5.40 ERA in 7 games) was released.
Meanwhile 31 year old right hander J.D. Durbin is trying out with the Lamigo Monkeys. In 2012 he was 14-9 with a 4.48 ERA in 28 games with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League. He has played two seasons in MLB and in 2010 appeared in three games with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks.
