This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Cervenak, 36, batted .340 with 13 HRs and 57 RBIs last season with the New Orleans Zephyrs (Triple A Pacific Coast League). In 2006 he had a cup of coffee in the KBO with the Kia Tigers.
In 2012 29 year old right hander Bay was 4-9 with a 4.63 ERA in 25 games with the Tucson Padres (AAA PCL).
In addition to retaining Brad Thomas and signing Mike Ballard the Brother Elephants will also likely sign Miguel Mejia and Hiroki Sanada. Mejia last played in 2011. Sanada has played in Japan with the Yokohama BayStars and the Yomiuri Giants.
