Monkeys sign P Matt DeSalvo
The Lamigo Monkeys have signed 31 year old right handed pitcher Matt DeSalvo. He was 6-3, 1 save, with a 3.89 ERA in 23 games with the York Revolution (independent Atlantic League) in 2011.

The Monkeys also announced that P Ken Ray, who was 13-10 with a 2.85 ERA in 29 games last season, will be returning.

Wow. An ERA in the 2's and he took 10 losses? It looks like Ray didn't get any run support at all. Glad to see the team taking that into account when re-signing him.

Thanks very much for this information. Do you know which foreigners have been signed for 2012 by the Elephants, Bulls, or Lions?

Not yet. Most teams are still trying out foreigners for the upcoming season. The Bulls will not sign any foreign players for the second straight season.
