This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

In other moves the Sinon Bulls have released four year veteran 3B Wilton Veras. He was having his worst season at the plate with a .238 batting average, 2 HRs and 34 RBIs in 81 games. Veras was never a strong fielder as his .934 fielding percentage in 80 games at third shows. In previous years his hitting made up for that.
Finally two year veteran Aaron Rakers was relased by the La New Bears. After winning 13 games last season he was 4-7 with a 4.15 ERA in 18 games this year.
