This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

In other transactions the Brother Elephants signed 29 year old lefty Ryan Cullen. In 2008 he went 7-6 with 16 saves and a 2.11 ERA in 49 games with the Lancaster Barnstormers (Independent Atlantic League). Tagg Bozied (.286 with 3 HRs and 13 RBIs) was released.
The Sinon Bulls were also busy making moves as they released P Alfredo Gonzalez (0-1, 4.50 ERA in 3 games) and long time reliever Kuo Yong-chi (1-1, 5.93 ERA in 15 games).
