CPBL All-Star Game: Reds vs. Whites

The Chinese Professional Baseball League All-Star Break is here at last. This year, the Red Team, sponsored by LG, will face the White Team again, sponsored by Tai Shin Bao Dai. The official sponsor of the All-Star Game is some tea company. It's the Reds against the Whites (sounds like the old Russian Civil War).

The White Team will be composed of players from the Sinon Bulls, Makoto Cobras, and President Lions. Meanwhile, the Red Team will consist of players from the Brother Elephants, China Trust Whales, and La New Bears. The All-Star Game will be played on July 17. The Future's Game, new this year, will be played on July 16. Both games will start at 6:35 p.m. (Taiwan time) at Shingchuang Stadium.

There was only one foreigner voted into the game and that's Elephants' veteran hurler Jonathan Hurst. Just like the national election, some of the positions were very close.
