Former NPB Player Now In CPBL
Former Nippon Professional Baseball pitcher Brian Warren has found himself in the Chinese Professional Baseball League with the Sinon Bulls.

The 37 year old right hander has spent 2004 with the independent Bridgeport Bluefish, having a 1.76 ERA in 16 GP (15.1 IP).

In Japan, Warren spent three seasons with the Chiba Lotte Marines where he posted 49 saves with a 2.45 ERA in 109 games (124.2 IP). However, Warren is no stranger to the CPBL. Before going to Japan, Warren spent one year with the China Trust Whales where he had a 2.49 ERA in 23 GP (47.0 IP).

Warren will join Dominican native Osvaldo Martinez (2.91 ERA with 11 saves in 26 GP) and American native Jeffery Louis Andra (6-3-0 with 2 saves and 2.42 ERA in 17 GP, 74.1 IP).
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
