1,000 NPB Player Pages at the BR Bullpen

1,000 NPB Player Pages at the BR Bullpen
The Baseball-Reference Bullpen now has pages for over 1,000 players who appeared in Nippon Pro Baseball - about half are stubs or incomplete, but about half are fairly comprehensive.

The newest entries show the range - a minor player in Shinji Udaka, a Hall-of-Famer in Katsuo Osugi, and an All-Star in Seiji Sekiguchi.

We still have a long way to go, but I think we're making impressive strides, considering the Bullpen is less than two years old.

I also have to congratulate the hard work of everyone over at Baseball-Reference with all the extensive BR Bullpen entries on players in NPB. I've worked on some of them over there from all-star players to very obscure, often forgotten players such as Tomio Hirooka. It is indeed a very impressive stride considering how young the BR Bullpen is.
