The Yankees were just dumb for not re-signing him. Here's a rare guy who just wanted to stay with the team and was willing to take a pay cut. On the other hand, you have a Boras client in Damon who is asking for multiple years and as much money as possible and they are still thinking of keeping him. I hope Matsui knocks some out in his return to the Bronx in an Angels uniform.
