Red Sox Sign Matsuo
The Boston Red Sox signed pitcher Termasu Matsuo to a minor league contract.

Matsuo, 26, will report to the Red Sox's extended spring training facility in Fort Myers. He pitched with the Kagawa Olive Guyners of the Shikoku Island League last year, going 15-3 with a 1.72 ERA in 30 starts, in route to winning the MVP.
