Cardinals Release Taguchi
The St. Louis Cardinals have released outfielder So Taguchi [Baseball-Reference] to clear a roster spot for Thursday's Rule V Draft, ending his career with the Cardinals which has lasted six seasons. He will be a free agent if he clears waivers.

Taguchi batted .290/.350/.368 with 3 HRs and 30 RBI in 130 games and 307 AB's.
