Mets Sign Former BayStar Joselo
Former BayStar Joselo Diaz has signed with the New York Mets. I have no information on the contract other than what I saw here [Baseball America].

I take it that he got a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. I'd be shocked if it was anything more.
I just can't see how Diaz will have much opportunity to play with the Mets with an already loaded bullpen. If Diaz is trying to make it to the majors, he picked the wrong team to sign with.

Before he was a BayStar, he was a Met.
