Anybody knows what's Hideo doing these days? Is he still pitching somewhere in the minors?

After two months of rehab, he started playing catch a few weeks ago, according to his official website.

He was pitching with AAA Charlotte of the White Sox organization, but had a season-ending injury. He plans on rehabbing on the hope a major league team will sign him.

Is he allowed to come back to Japan or did the whole "retirement" thing put an end to that back in the day?
