This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

2 weeks ago, I was watching the Dodgers/D-Backs game when Thom Brennaman and Mark Grace (D-Backs TV) were talking about rookies with the most wins at the All-Star break and Brennaman mentioned Kazuhisa Ishii. He says, "That guy was unhittable when he threw strikes, but the problem was he couldn't throw any strikes. Where is he now?" Then Grace follows with, "Out of baseball." What a bunch of morons. They didn't even assume that Ishii had gone back to Japan to play in NPB again.
