Wonderful World of Fandom
Hello! I am an English teacher in Japan for the JET Programme and am making an English newsletter for my junior high students. I thought the boys might be interested in comparing the habits of American baseball fans (what they do at games to show support for their team) to those of the Japanese enthusiasts. I was wondering if you could help me out about the "customs" for team support (cheering, etc., if there are any) in Japanese baseball games. Thanks for your help!

This thread might be a start.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
