Good to have Kaz back. 1-4 with a inside the park homer and 2 nice double plays.

This is the ideal situation for Kaz. Lots of upside as expectations are low, no viable 2B option, other big boppers to carry the offense, and the team is winning. He is still rusty from missing time, but hopefully he will be fine.

Kaz is tearing up MLB pitching.

LOL. You are a funny guy. Kaz is finally showing what he is capable of doing.

The Mets' PR machine is getting some mileage from Kaz's nice start. Here is the link].

Marty Noble will write some peculiar things once in awhile like, "Is it premature to speculate who will be the starting second baseman when Anderson Hernandez comes back?" Hello McFly? Matsui was going to start but got hurt. The kid stepped in and, while showing a splendid glove, could not hit MLB pitching. Hernandez got hurt and Matsui was ready. Who will start? Geez, I can think of 8 million reasons! Plus, why wouldn't Kaz keep starting if he plays well?

You can also see that, while Willie Randolph has been critical, he is also a Kaz supporter. There's a few nice quotes in the article.

I wouldn't say he is tearing up MLB pitching (after the pitching has eaten Kaz alive for the past 2 years), but he is off to a good start. I expect the Shea fans to give him a nice welcome.
