Eiji Miyamoto?

Discussion in the Nichi-Bei forum
Eiji Miyamoto?
According to the Japan Times, the Cubs have signed Japanese right-hander Eiji Miyamoto to a provisional minor league contract. All I know about him so far is: He attended Fukushima Shogyo High School, he spent some time in the Expos organization, and he pitched in 5 games for the Jackson Senators of the Central League (an Independent league in the US) in 2002. Does anyone know anything else about this kid?
