Kazuhisa Ishii

Discussion in the Nichi-Bei forum
Kazuhisa Ishii
Ishii had his first major league start last night. He won the game for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He gave up two hits and no runs in five and two-thirds innings. He had ten strike outs and three walks. An excellent performance by Ishii. I hope that I can get him on my major league fantasy baseball team.

This week, Kazuhisa Ishii of the Dodgers won his fourth decision of the young MLB season. He has not yet lost, the longest such streak from the start of an MLB career in L.A.'s history since Valenzuela two decades ago. I would make him the favorite for National League rookie of the year.
