Korean pitcher Ji-Mo Lee

Discussion in the KBO News forum
Korean pitcher Ji-Mo Lee
I'm trying to track down information on Lee, a 22-year-old righty who was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2009 and supposedly pitched with the Lotte Giants in 2008.

But I can't find any record of him in the KBO databases (through the Korea Data Project) and wonder if (1) his name has been mistranslated in the database, or (2) he never actually pitched with the Giants (who released him in Nov. of 2008).

Anybody heard of this guy? I'd love to find his stats in the KBO database, or at least confirm that he never actually pitched.

Thanks so much!

Mike

I found out from a Korean friend that he never actually pitched in KBO, after returning from his military service. Just in case anyone else is wondering

I realize that this is an old thread, but I just need to add this.
He changed his name..
His name was Joon-Hui Lee. 이준휘.
He had lower back problem in 2008 and team and ji-mo agree to be releases by the team. I'll meet him this year, if I find more about it, I'll post it here. Hope this was informative..
