Shane Bowers: 10-4, 1 save, 3.14 ERA, 67 Ks in 117 2/3 IP.

Bowers had a very bad July. Due to a shoulder injury, he went down to the farm twice. He was called up by Hyundai again in the second week of August and appeared as a closer on August 9. The last time he won a game was on June 24. Currently, he is 4th in wins and ERA.

Hopefully he will be as effective as he was in the first half. The league leading Hyundai Unicorns have 38 games to go down the stretch. Entering tonight's game (August 12), they are four games ahead of the second place Samsung Lions.
