SK Wyverns 3 - Hanwha Eagles 1:
Lee Ho-joon's home run and Ahn Jae-man's RBI single overcame the Eagles in 12 innings in Taejon. Cho Ung-chun pitched 3-1/3 innings to earn his 15th save of 2003.
Samsung Lions 11 - Kia Tigers 8:
Lee Seung-yeop hit his 22nd home run of 2003 to lead the Lions past the Tigers in Taegu. Lee's three run homer combined with solo homers by Tilson Brito and Jin Kab-yong.
Hyundai Unicorns 9 - Doosan Bears 4:
Shim Jong-soo blasted a three-run round tripper and a two-run homer to drive in five runs and overpower the Bears in Suwon. Shane Bowers (7-1) picked up the victory despite giving up four runs and 13 hits in 7-2/3 innings. Both teams had 15 hits, but Doosan left 11 men on base.
Lotte Giants 10 - LG Twins 5:
Shin Myung-chul contributed to a seven-run third inning for the Giants with a three-run homer to clobber the Twins in Seoul's Chamsil Stadium. LG's Manny Martinez hit a solo home run. Sohn Min-han (1-6) struck out seven batters, yielding three runs in six innings to notch the win.

Hanwha Eagles 8 - SK Wyverns 7:
Lim Soo-min drew a walk with two down and the bases loaded in the ninth inning to bring in the winning run in for the Eagles. Chae Byung-ryong gave up the base on balls to pick up the loss for the Wyvens in Taejon.
Kia Tigers 4 - Samsung Lions 3:
The Tigers won the first game of a double-header despite Lee Seung-yeop's two home runs for the Lions. Jin Pil-jung recieved his 14th save of 2003 in the game played in Taegu.
Samsung Lions 8 - Kia Tigers 4:
Jeon Byung-ho pitched six innings, giving up three runs to beat the Tigers in the second game. A three-run homer by Lee Seung-yeop was his third of the night and his 25th home run of the year.
Hyundai Unicorns 8 - Doosan Bears 7 (11 innings):
The Unicorns rallied twice to slip past the Bears in the the four-hour and fifty-minute marathon in Suwon.
Lotte Giants 2 - LG Twins 0:
Roberto Perez hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to beat the Twins in Chamsil. Yeom Jong-seok pitched eight scoreless innings while striking out six LG batters and yielding three hits for the victory.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
