The April 29, 2003 Taipei Times [Link] reports on Chang "Prince of the forest" Tai-shan, Osvaldo Martinez, and this past weekend's CPBL action.

Chang came within two home runs of reaching the 100 career home run mark. The Sino Bulls' third-baseman only hit one home run this weekend in front of sold out crowds.

Sinon teammate Osvaldo Martinez threw his 856th strikout to become the all-time CPBL strikeout leader. Former President Lions' pitcher and current manager Hsieh Chang-hehn held the record at 855.
