ソフトバンク江川の先発出場での連続試合安打が、７でストップした。４日も７番左翼で先発出場。１打席目は四球で出塁したが、３回の２死一、三塁の好機では朝井のカーブにタイミングが合わず遊ゴロ。その後の２打席も遊飛に仕留められるなど、スコアボードにＨマークをともすことはできなかった。「ヒットが止まったのは仕方ありません。状態は悪くないし、また明日（５日）から打ち続けます」と気持ちを切り替えていた。
