阪神金村暁が制球ミスで手痛い一発を浴びた。７回から３番手で登板。１死後に松田を迎え、カウント２－０に追い込んだ直後だ。狩野が中腰で構えたミットに速球を投じると、やや甘く入り、棒球になってしまった。これをフルスイングされて左翼席に被弾。阪神移籍後、初失点を喫した。
