プロ２７年目の横浜工藤公康投手（４４）が、韓国ＳＫとの練習試合に２番手で登場。今季初実戦のマウンドに向かう前、「真っすぐだけで行こう」と決めた。「ちょっと思い付いたんだよね。最近ブルペンでも下半身を使えるようになっていたし。腕を振って、打者が待っているところに投げようと」。計１１球の速球のうち、最速は１４４キロをマークした。
