腰痛が心配される中日中村紀がＣＳへ“一発回答”だ。６回に代打満塁本塁打。藤井（オリックス）に並ぶ歴代２位タイの１４本目で健在ぶりをアピールした。「つまったけど、積極的にいったのがよかった」。満塁弾は０３年８月２３日オリックス戦以来でソフトバンク王監督が持つ１５本にあと１本と迫った。代打アーチは実に１３年ぶり。この１発で０３年以来４年ぶりに２０本に乗せた。阪神とのＣＳ第１ステージへ向け「とにかく体を早く治したい。最初から出られるように治ることを祈ってます」と気合十分だった。
