ファーム日本選手権が２９日、山形県野球場で行われ、中日が巨人を７－２で下して３年ぶり４度目のファーム日本一に輝いた。中日は１点を追う６回に森岡良介内野手（２３）の２ラン、堂上剛裕内野手（２２）の適時打などで一挙４点を挙げ逆転した。投げては４回から登板した吉見一起投手（２３）が５回２安打無失点の好投で勝ち投手となり、最優秀選手にも選ばれた。巨人は深田拓也投手（２４）の２点適時二塁打で先制したものの、追加点が奪えなかった。
