横浜スタジアムで、ハマの番長が自ら最良の「敬老の日」を演出した。三浦が１１勝目、チームの３連勝、さらには６０歳以上の入場者にグラブ１０個を抽選でプレゼントするスペシャルイベント。いつもは子供対象の企画だが「まさかこの日に投げるとはね。ホントに勝てて良かったですよ。（当選グラブで）キャッチボールをしてくれればいいですね」と胸をなで下ろした。
