巨人が危険球で奪首に失敗した。０－０で迎えた３回、先発の内海哲也投手（２５）のすっぽ抜けの球がヤクルト先頭の青木宣親外野手（２５）のヘルメットに当たり、危険球と見なされて降板した。肩をつくる間もなくマウンドに上がった福田聡志投手（２４）が４本の長短打を浴びて４点を先制されるなど４－９で敗れた。
