阪神金本が２日連続の決勝打を放った。シーツの二塁打で同点に追いついたヤクルト戦の３回裏。４番金本は一塁線を破る勝ち越し二塁打。「打ったのは真っ直ぐ。うーん、特にないね。勝ち越せてよかったよ」。これがプロ通算１９６３安打目で、２０００本まであと３７本とした。チームは３連勝で、首位巨人とのゲーム差は２・５とまた詰まってきた。
