西武・伊東監督は２８日、新人で９勝を挙げている岸を右腹直筋の肉離れのため、出場選手登録から外すことを明らかにした。岸は２６日の投球練習中に痛みを訴え、登板を回避した２８日には病院で検査を受けて肉離れが判明した。佐々木チーフトレーナーは「２、３日でよくなるかもしれないし、１週間かかるかもしれない」と復帰まで長引く可能性も示唆した。
