楽天・礒部が自らの復帰を祝った。２−１の六回無死一、三塁から代打で登場。高めの球を振り抜き、貴重な追加点となる右前適時打を放った。１６日のオリックス戦の死球が影響して出場選手登録を外れていたが、この日再昇格を果たしていた。「快気祝いで打ててよかった」と声を弾ませた。
