ソフトバンク杉内が１４勝目を挙げた。７回６安打２失点で７月２９日の西武戦以来、４試合ぶりとなる白星。それでも２回までスライダーは１球だけに制限。組み立てに苦しんだマウンドで３回に２失点。「情けない。３回まではキュウキュウの投球です。４回から開き直っただけ。（血液型が）Ａ型やし、悩みますよ。少し走り込みができてないので、追い込みます」と反省していた。
