川崎に始まり、川崎で終わった。ソフトバンク川崎宗則内野手（２６）が３－３で迎えた９回裏２死満塁で右前にサヨナラ打を放った。初回の２号先制ソロを含む３安打で、多村、松中、小久保の主軸３人が無安打の中、チームを６連勝に導いた。日本ハムも勝ったため首位復帰はお預けとなったが、５０勝３８敗３分けとし、貯金を今季最多の１２に戻した。
