ソフトバンクの「不敗アベック弾」は生きていた。松中、小久保から、４月２９日のオリックス戦（スカイマーク）以来、今季５度目のアベック弾が飛び出し、苦手のロッテ渡辺俊を粉砕した。８回には一時逆転を許したが、土壇場の９回２死から４連打で再逆転。最後は守護神馬原が締め、２位ロッテに０・５ゲーム差と詰め寄った。
