日曜日は日本ハムの日－。日本ハム先発ライアン・グリン投手（３２）が、ロッテ相手に７回１失点の粘投で今季８勝目を挙げた。５月２２日の巨人戦から７連勝だ。さらにチームはサンデー１１連勝。ロッテとの首位攻防も３連勝で２・５ゲーム差にリードを広げた。今季主催試合の観客動員も、日本一昨季より速く１００万人を突破した。なにやら札幌ドームは、昨年の雰囲気と似てきたぞ。
