マー君がファン投票１位御礼の白星を届けた。楽天のルーキー田中将大投手（１８）が３日のソフトバンク戦（盛岡）に先発し、序盤３失点も打線が６回に大量７点を挙げ逆転。７回に打球を受け降板も６勝目を手にした。田中が投げると打線が爆発、しかもパ相手では唯一勝利しているソフトバンクが相手と相性の良さは生きていた。地元宮城で開催となる球宴第２戦の先発へ、田中は大きな白星を手にした。
