球宴出場へ投票してくれたファンへの御礼デス。楽天田中将大投手（１８）が２６日の巨人４回戦に先発。高橋由に２発浴びるなど７回４失点も５勝目を挙げた。ドラフト制度後、高卒ルーキーで巨人戦初登板勝利は７人目。田中は球宴出場に自らノルマと課していた「５勝」を達成したが、同制度後に６月まで５勝を挙げた高卒ルーキーは巨人堀内、阪神江夏、西武松坂に続き４人目、捕手嶋も含め「新人バッテリーの巨人戦勝利」は同制度後初の快挙も達成した。
